Yes, scheduling an appointment is necessary. We do not accept walk-in patients as our schedule is typically full two weeks in advance. We do this because we value all of our patient's time with the doctor equally.
There is no need to have x-rays or MRI's prior to treatment. If you have had these tests performed, please bring a copy of the report with you to our office. Dr. Flournoy will order tests if he believes they are necessary to proceed with your treatment.
Yes, Dr. Flournoy treats children of all ages. We receive referrals from pediatricians on a regular basis and would be more than happy to follow up with your child's doctor as needed or requested.
Dr. Flournoy uses a combination of digital pressure and tissue motion to selectively stretch specific soft tissue areas that are causing pain and discomfort. Active Release Technique is a great option for treatment of back pain during pregnancy if you are concerned about receiving chiropractic manipulation while pregnant.
